Audio flags in modify mode
In [COPY TX SINK EDID and MODIFY] mode the manual lists these audio flags: L-PCM (mode, sample rate and bit width), TrueHD, DD+, DTS-HD MA and ONE BIT (each disabled, or set with mode and sample rate), plus DD and DTS (disabled, or set with mode).
Dolby Atmos is carried inside TrueHD or DD+ streams, and the unit’s flag list has no separate Atmos item. Every predefined table also comes in 7.1, 5.1 and 2.0 audio versions.
Pass-through, not processing
The unit passes PCM up to 192kHz, IEC 61937 compressed audio, DSD, DST, TrueHD, DD+, DTS, DTS-HD MA, DTS:X, HBR and Atmos, and it never compresses or down-converts the audio. Advertising a format cannot give a TV, soundbar or AVR a decoder it lacks.
A clean audio test sequence
- Confirm the source, AVR or soundbar, and display support the format you want.
- Note the Audio Dolby, Audio DTS and Audio PCM fields for EDID TX in the web server.
- Copy the sink EDID, or choose a predefined table with the channel count you need.
- Change one audio flag and restart the source.
- Compare the EDID RX audio fields with the format your AVR or soundbar reports.
One flag per test keeps every result traceable.
